May

'I love Homewood'
The last two months have been very busy so here is a recap from the month of May. The first weekend in May they had I love Homewood Day. It consisted of some sidewalk art, a parade, and music and games for the kids. I absolutely love parades so Jeff, June, and I met up with some friends for the parade.

June and I watching the parade
The Southern Bells (my favorite in the parade)

Here is some of the sidewalk art.

We hung out at the park after the parade.

Having fun with Dad.

Getting ready for the toss.

Almost there.
Not a fan of the toss yet.

"Please pick me up?!"
A little hesitant at first
Now she loves swinging!!

Holding hands. BFF.
All tuckered out after a long day.
June fell asleep hugging Jeff's leg under the computer chair.
The second exciting thing that happened in May was that I was baptized. This is something that I had been thinking about for a long time and finally decided that I just really needed to do. When baptized at our church, you are required to share your testimony with the congregation during the service. Anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely hate being the center of attention so sharing my testimony in front of a few hundred people was a big deal. It ended up not being too bad at all. Once I got up there, I was just concentrating on reading my testimony and completely forgot about everyone else that was there. I'm so glad that I finally decided to get baptized.

Here are a few silly pictures of June from May.

"Done with my nap. Play time?"
"Is anybody out there?"
June at 9 months (May 8th)
Good thing it was her 'birthday' since she ate half my cookies and threw the rest on the ground.
Here are a few pictures from June's 8 month photo shoot. She wasn't very happy so there weren't very many good ones, but what can you do?
